Hello friends! I wanted to share another outfit post with you all. If you haven’t seen my previous post, you can check it out here. I went to SF not too long ago to eat at a restaurant called Niku Steakhouse and wanted to put together a quick post about the outfit I wore. I don’t usually wear anything fancy too often even though I like dressing up, but once in awhile, I do enjoy wearing something more formal. Since it was a date night, I thought of wearing something a little nicer than what I usually do and I also wanted a reason to wear my Dior handbag that I recently saved up to buy and have been absolutely loving it! 🙂
For this outfit, I wanted to keep is timeless and minimal. I really wanted to make the Dior handbag pop out as a statement piece, so I decided to wear a black dress with a black faux fur jacket. If there’s one color I must have in my wardrobe, it’s black because they go with everything and it’s a timeless color. If I plan on wearing one color for an outfit, I try to add some textures and colors using accessories. This is where my Dior handbag comes in with that pop of color and I think having a monochrome outfit makes the bag pop so much more. The fur jacket adds a nice touch of texture and shine with the embellishments around the collar area which makes the outfit so much more interesting. I also paired the outfit with a some pearl earrings and I think that just elevated the outfit so much more with that timeless effect while keeping it minimal.
This outfit is perfect for a date night or even just for a night out with your girls. This outfit is chic without being over the top, and I think with the slip dress, it makes it easy to dress up or down. You can pair it multiple ways for it to be either formal or casual.
